Top Tip: 3 Lead Generation Strategies

No one said it would be easy, but there are ways to generate new leads using content marketing. Here are just 3 ways you can consider generating more high quality leads:

1) Creating Gated Content: This is content which audiences must complete a form online in order to access. Obviously, someone will only do this if a piece of content is valuable and very relevant to them, as there is so much free content available to people.

This can be effective because it gives something of value away for free, whilst giving you a high quality lead. HOWEVER, the content must be HIGH QUALITY and very relevant to the lead. For example:

  • E Books

  • Guides

  • Courses

  • Reports

2) Host an Event: Are your customers asking a lot of questions on a specific topic? Would an online event with an industry expert help your clients and potential customers? Event registration can be a great lead generating strategy, however, the quality of the lead, will depend on the quality and relevance of the content. So, research the target audience you wish to attract well to ensure you speak to your target audience's needs.

3) Create a reward referral system: Customers value and trust recommendations from colleagues and friends, so when one of your customers does refer someone, you want to be able to thank them with a reward e.g a discount on their next purchase or a small gift. Asking and then encouraging your current 'fans' to spread the word can be very effective.
